About Sentari AISentari AI is a software company building AI-powered products. We currently develop and maintain two products:- Sentari (withsentari.com) – an AI journaling platform for personal growth and self-reflection, used by 1,900+ people- LinkinReachly – a desktop application that helps students and job seekers manage their LinkedIn outreach and job applications more efficiently using AIBoth products are live, serving real users, and actively developed by our engineering team.What you’d work onAs a software engineering intern, you’d contribute to production code across our products. Depending on your interests and the team’s priorities, your work could include:- Building and improving our React + TypeScript frontend inside an Electron desktop application- Developing Chrome Extension features using Manifest V3- Working with AI/LLM integrations – OpenAI API, prompt engineering, structured outputs- Backend development with Supabase (Postgres, Edge Functions, authentication)- Writing and maintaining tests with Vitest and PlaywrightYou would ship code to production that real users depend on. This is not a simulated environment or a practice project – your contributions go live.What we’re looking for- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript- Familiarity with React or a similar component framework- Interest in AI products and how they’re built- Comfort working in a small, fast-moving teamNo GPA minimum. No specific school. No prior internship required. We evaluate candidates on their curiosity, product thinking, and ability to learn quickly.Internship structure- Duration: 10-12 weeks (flexible start date to accommodate academic calendars)- Schedule: Flexible – we work around your class schedule- Supervision: Weekly 1:1 meetings with the founder, daily async standups, named mentor- Onboarding: Product walkthrough, codebase orientation, and first contribution within your first week- Evaluation: Mid-program check-in and end-of-program review with written feedbackCompensation and benefits- $31/hr – posted transparently- $200 learning budget for courses, books, or conferences- Performance bonus of $500-1,000 at program completion- Free access to all Sentari AI products- Path to continued employment for strong performers- Reference letter from the founder, specific to your contributions- Portfolio rights – everything you build is yours to showcaseHow to applyBefore you apply, take 15 minutes to explore one of our products – Sentari (withsentari.com) or LinkinReachly (linkinreachly.com).
