Bonne Terre Labs / The Undivide Project is seeking a Web Development Intern to help maintain and improve two mission-driven web platforms hosted on GreenGeeks and built with modern web technologies, including Next.js.
This internship is open to students at any level, including undergraduate and graduate students. The role is ideal for someone who wants practical experience supporting one live website while helping rebuild another into a community resource hub with integrated APIs and stronger user functionality.
Update, maintain, and improve an existing website, including content updates, bug fixes, and small feature enhancements.
Help rebuild a second website using Next.js or a similar modern JavaScript framework. Support the conversion of that site into a community resource hub with improved structure, navigation, and user experience.
Integrate APIs that connect the site to outside tools, datasets, directories, maps, or other community resources.
Work with project leads to turn ideas and requirements into clear technical tasks and practical deliverables.
Document code, setup steps, and decisions so the sites are easier to maintain and extend over time.
Participate in regular check-ins and provide steady weekly progress throughout the Fall 2027 term.
This team is on the East Coast of the United States. All applicants must reside in or adapt to working Eastern Time Zone hours.
