We are looking for an AI Automation Intern to help design, build, and optimize systems across two growing companies: Tree Leads On Demand (a marketing agency) and TreeOps 360 (a SaaS platform for tree care businesses).
Your role will be to help turn our operations into an AI-powered, automated system using tools like Claude, Claude Code, and n8n, along with our existing software stack (Go HighLevel, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, ClickUp, and more). You will work directly with the founder to identify opportunities for automation and implement systems that improve efficiency across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n and similar tools
- Use Claude / AI tools to streamline business processes and decision-making
- Connect APIs, webhooks, and software platforms across our tech stack
- Improve and optimize CRM workflows (Go HighLevel)
- Automate marketing, sales, onboarding, follow-up, and reporting systems
- Identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong interest in AI, automation, and system building
- Familiarity with tools like Claude Code or ChatGPT
- Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, or automation tools
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to learn quickly
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with n8n, Zapier, or Make
- Basic coding or scripting experience (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
- Experience working with CRMs or marketing tools
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong curiosity and willingness to experiment and build
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
This role is focused on systems and automation, not traditional full-stack application development. You will be working on real business systems that directly impact operations and revenue.
