Williams & Works is seeking an entry level civil engineer to join our municipal group. The entry level civil engineer will assist senior civil engineers in preparation of conceptual and final design plans, writing and editing technical specifications, preparing engineering related calculations, and creating cost analyses of construction projects. Other responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, performing construction inspections, assisting in report preparation, participating in training classes, attending meetings with clients, and working with engineering teams from other disciplines.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Self-Motivation and ability to work well with others
  • Skill in technical writing, organization, and communication
  • Passing result of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, etc.
  • Previous experience in construction observation or inspection
