Display Tables
We’re excited to offer employers the opportunity to connect directly with Calvin students through on-campus display tables. This is a great way to gain visibility, build brand recognition, and recruit students for seasonal work.
Tables are available for $30 and include chairs, access to an outlet, and promotion of your visit across campus. The common time for display tables is Wednesdays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. We get the most foot traffic at Peet’s Coffee, and we also offer tables at Johnny’s and the CUSB Lobby, a high-traffic area for business students.
When you arrive on campus, we’ll ask you to check in at the Career Center before setting up.
Office Hours
Employer Office Hours give you the opportunity to meet directly with Calvin students in a relaxed, approachable setting. During these short 15–20 minute walk-in sessions—held either in person or virtually—you’ll support students by reviewing resumes, conducting practice interviews, or answering questions about job search and interview strategies in your industry. Office Hours typically take place on Fridays.
Career Conversations
These short sessions, generally on Wednesdays from 4:00-4:30 p.m. give employers a chance to share their knowledge and connect with students on various topics related to career.
In the past we’ve hosted panels, run workshops, and facilitated sessions on topics like LinkedIn best practices, time management strategies, evaluating job opportunities, and more!
We would love for you to take these sessions in a direction that engages students and fits your expertise.

Coffee & Career Chats
Bring along a container of coffee for students to enjoy and connect with Calvin students in a relaxed, welcoming setting. These informal 30-minute conversations give you the chance to share about your organization, what you look for in candidates, and any internship or job opportunities you’re offering.
Career Fairs
Career fairs are a great way to meet Calvin students and share your opportunities face-to-face. Throughout the academic year, we host fairs on campus, often in collaboration with other area colleges and universities, giving you access to an even wider talent pool.
