Our commitment to service, innovation, and customer satisfaction drives our success, and we’re looking for a motivated Business Development Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Houston!

Job Overview:

As a Shipping Consultant/Business Development Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibilities will include cold calling, sales hunting, lead generation, and managing customer relations. If you are passionate about sales, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling: Engage with potential clients through proactive outreach to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Sales Hunting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, demonstrating the value of our services to prospective clients.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various platforms and networks to generate leads and convert them into loyal customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business, while also seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
